Nestled in southwest Michigan’s Wine Country, at the junction of the St. Joseph River and McCoy Creek, Buchanan is rich in natural wonders and history. Hike, bike, paddle or drive in and around town as you explore the shops, restaurants and wineries. There’s even an electric charging station in town.
Buchanan is a year-round destination that embraces all seasons. In the summer, the Buchanan’s Common Outdoor Theater offers a concert series and children’s programs as well as a Farmer’s Market that runs from May to October. In the Fall, you’ll find one of Buchanan’s most visited attractions – the annual Scarecrow display—on every corner of town. In winter, Buchanan welcomes visitors and the community to celebrate the holidays and join in the Holiday parade and tree lighting.
