2019 Summer Thrill on the Hill Event Schedule & Important Information

August 1-3, 2019 In Beautiful Downtown Buchanan, Michigan

2019 Summer Thrill Hours and Wristband Prices:

  • Thursday, August 1st, 2019  4pm–10pm   $5.00

  • Friday, August 2nd, 2019 Noon–10pm     $5.00

  • Saturday, August 3rd, 2019 10am–10 pm $5.00

  • You can also purchase a 3 Day Fun Pass for $10.00

All wristbands include unlimited rides! Bring your own tube.  See details below...

Friday Night, August 2nd - ADULT Concert Featuring:

“PS Dump Your Boyfriend” - Sponsored by Redbud Roots

Concert starts Friday @ 8:30pm 

Admission  $10.00 per person - Concert wristband includes access to the water slide after the concert until 1 a.m! Bring your floaty, towel and bathing suit! 

Everyone must sign a waiver to ride the slide.  

Beer Garden available - Sponsored by Buchanan Moose Lodge - MUST  be 21 to enter beer garden and concert area.

Note:  This year the beer garden will NOT be separated from the band. Concert goers will have plenty of room to enjoy the concert, mingle and dance. 

Friday August 2nd & Saturday, August 3rd at 6:00 pm - McCoy Creek Duck Race
Ducks sold at City Hall and during event - $3 each or 2 for $5 - Duck Race Takes place in McCoy's Creek Park (aka The Duck Pond) 

Prize list coming soon! Have fun "racing" rubber ducks for prizes!

SAFETY RULES:
To ensure the safest experience for everyone during their visit, the following rules are in effect.

    -NO running, standing, kneeling, tumbling, or stopping on the slide.
    -Keep an eye on your children. Children should not be left unattended at any time. 
    -Keep all parts of the body within the Slide.
    -Leave the Slide pool promptly after coming to a stop.
    -Profanity and unruly behavior are offensive and not allowed. 
    -NO saving places or bypass others in line. 
    -NO food or beverages on the Slide or pool area.
    -Weapons, sharp objects, illegal contraband, spray paint/aerosol cans, glass bottles, knives, metallic objects, fireworks, and explosives are prohibited.   
    -Sliding while under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited.
    -NO sliding permitted if you have a communicable disease, an open wound, or have had diarrhea within 14 days.    
    -NO nudity or inappropriate clothing.
    -NO dogs allowed, except service dogs.

DRESS CODE:
-Proper swimwear is required. Swimwear must be conservative in style and appropriate for a family environment.
-Children in diapers and those being toilet trained must wear approved swim pants in the water.
-No street clothes, including but not limited to, soccer shorts, cargo pants, bicycle shorts, cotton shorts, jeans, denim, long pants or cut-off shorts.
-Swimwear with buttons, rivets, grommets, buckles, belts or metal ornamentation are not permitted.
-Displayed tattoos must be in good taste and not offensive to a family environment.
-Street Footwear and sandals are not permitted, only Aqua socks and aquatic style footwear are allowed on the water slide; barefoot is preferred.
-Females: One piece or a conservative two-piece bathing suit. Board shorts may be worn over bathing suit bottoms.
-Males: Swim trunks or board shorts.
